Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to realize heating by efficient waste heat recovery and a simplified determination reference, in a vehicle air conditioner configured to use recovered waste heat from heat-generating devices installed in the vehicle to heat the vehicle cabin. This vehicle air conditioner includes: a first heating mode in which a refrigerant discharged from a compressor (2) dissipates heat at a heat sink (4), and after decompression, absorbs heat at an outdoor heat exchanger (7) without using a waste heat recovering heat exchanger (64); and a second heating mode in which the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (2) dissipates heat at the heat sink (4), and after decompression, absorbs heat at the outdoor heat exchanger (7) and the waste heat recovering heat exchanger (64). The first heating mode is switched to the second heating mode when the heat medium temperature (Tw) exceeds a first threshold.
