Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle air conditioning apparatus which is formed in a compact structure and occupies a small installation space and can efficiently perform cooling and heating by means of a simple structure. The vehicle air conditioning apparatus comprises: a case having an air inlet port and an air discharge port formed thereon; a blower for drawing in air through the air inlet port and blowing the air into the case; a compressor for compressing a refrigerant; a heat exchanger for heat exchanging between the refrigerant and the air; and an expanding means for throttling the refrigerant. The blower, compressor, heat exchanger and expanding means are disposed side by side inside the case and thus are formed in a flat type (slip type).
