Abstract:
Provided are: a vehicle air-conditioning device that can prevent incomplete door closure even when a blower fan is operating; and a method for controlling the vehicle air-conditioning device. A vehicle air-conditioning device 100 includes: an inside and outside air switching damper 4 including a damper switching actuator 41; a blower fan 6; a control unit 9; and a door opening/closing sensor 11. When a door is opened in a state where the blower fan 6 is operating and the inside and outside air switching damper 4 is in an outside air introduction mode, the control unit 9 instructs the damper switching actuator 41 to switch the inside and outside air switching damper 4 to an inside air circulation mode.
