This vehicle air conditioning device (100) is equipped with: an evaporator (1); a heater core (2); a unit case (3) that is provided with a cooling space (7) housing the evaporator (1), a heating space (8) connected to the cooling space (7) and housing the heater core (2), an air-mixing space (91) connected to the cooling space (7) and the heating space (8), and a foot-blowing passage (92); an air-mixing damper (4) that is provided between the cooling space (7), the heating space (8), and the air-mixing space (91), and that adjusts the ratio of the air introduced into the air-mixing space (91) by pivoting between a maximum cooling position (Pc) and a maximum heating position (Ph); and a foot-switching damper (5) that is capable of partitioning the air-mixing space (91) and the foot-blowing passage (92). The air-mixing damper (4) is provided with a reheat-preventing damper (43) having a main flat surface. The foot-switching damper (5) does not protrude further toward the air-mixing space (91) side than an imaginary plane including the main flat surface.
