Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle air conditioning device capable of accurately detecting frost formation on an outdoor heat exchanger even if variations occur in parts. Frost formation on an outdoor heat exchanger 7 is determined on the basis of a refrigerant evaporation temperature TXO of the outdoor heat exchanger, and a refrigerant evaporation temperature TXObase of the outdoor heat exchanger at the time of no frost formation. In the initial stage of startup, if there is an error LRN to a side where frost formation is not detected between the refrigerant evaporation temperature TXObase of the outdoor heat exchanger at the time of no frost formation and the refrigerant evaporation temperature TXO of the outdoor heat exchanger, the refrigerant evaporation temperature TXObase is corrected in a direction of decreasing or canceling the error LRN.
