Abstract:

This vehicle air-conditioning device comprises: a heat pump cycle (10) equipped with a compressor (11) and a first heating unit (12, 20); a second heating unit (25); and a heating control unit (60a). The first heating unit heats ventilation air to be blown into a vehicle interior using a refrigerant discharged from the compressor as a heat source. The second heating unit generates heat for heating ventilation air. The heating control unit controls the heating capability of the second heating unit. A first energy consumption volume that is required for the first heating unit to heat a prescribed volume of ventilation air by a prescribed temperature increment is less than a second energy consumption volume required for the second heating unit to heat a prescribed volume of ventilation air by a prescribed temperature increment. The heating control unit causes the second heating unit to exert the heating capability thereof in a case where the rotation speed of the compressor is equal to or higher than a prescribed reference rotation speed and the temperature of ventilation air is less than a target air output temperature (TAO).
