Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle air-conditioning unit such that a drainage path for discharging water in a piping arrangement space of a seal compression portion to the exterior of the passenger compartment is provided and water is prevented from flowing back into the piping arrangement space through the drainage path. This vehicle air-conditioning unit is disposed on the passenger compartment side relative to a partition wall (70) which separates the passenger compartment interior and the passenger compartment exterior of the vehicle and has a through-hole (70a) formed therethrough. The vehicle air-conditioning unit has a piping connection portion (22), which constitutes a part of the full piping portion (12, 22, 952) passing through the through-hole and connects to a passenger compartment exterior pipe (952) included in the full piping portion. A passenger compartment interior pipe (12) is included in the full piping portion and connects to the passenger compartment exterior pipe through the piping connection portion. A seal member (20) surrounds the piping connection portion. A seal compression portion (24) compresses the seal member against a through-hole peripheral portion (701) of the partition wall which forms the periphery of the through-hole. The seal compression portion (24) forms a piping arrangement space (24a) through which the internal pipe passes and a drainage space (24c) that is provided below the piping arrangement space so as to receive drainage water from the piping arrangement space. The drainage space communicates with the exterior of the passenger compartment through the through-hole so that drainage water is discharged to the passenger compartment exterior from the drainage space.
