Abstract:
A vehicle air conditioning unit is mounted in a vehicle (70), and the vehicle is capable of traveling by each of automatic driving in which vehicle operation by a foot (764) of a vehicle occupant (76) is unnecessary and normal driving in which vehicle operation by the foot of the vehicle occupant is necessary. The vehicle air conditioning unit is provided with a foot blowing part (14) in which a foot blowing vent (141) for blowing out air toward the feet of a vehicle occupant is formed so as to be open into a vehicle cabin, and a blowing changing device (16) for changing the location toward which blown air blown out from the foot blowing vent (14) is blown. A control unit (20) of the vehicle air conditioning unit controls the blowing changing device so that blown air is blown out more toward the rear during automatic driving than during normal driving.
