Abstract:
A vehicle approach alert device is provided with: a first sound generation voltage waveform signal generation unit including a first sound generation output generation unit (27a) that generates a first signal corresponding to sound generation data read from a memory device, and a first volume varying unit (26a) that controls a voltage level of the first signal; a second sound generation voltage waveform signal generation unit including a second sound generation output generation unit (27b) that generates a second signal corresponding to the sound generation data read from the memory device, and a second volume varying unit (26b) that controls a voltage level of the second signal; a mixer circuit (24) that mixes the first and the second signals; and an amplifier (25) that causes a current corresponding to a voltage of the mixed signals to flow through a sound generation member (3) so as to generate vehicle approach alert sound.
