Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle approach notification device capable of simply emitting a warning sound with minimal discomfort to the occupants of the vehicle, while maintaining the required sound pressure. This vehicle approach notification device is equipped with: a sound source; a first amplifier and a second amplifier; a first speaker system which has a first speaker and a second speaker that outputs a sound of the phase opposite to the sound output from the first speaker; and a second speaker system which has a third speaker that outputs a sound of the same phase as the sound output from the first speaker and a fourth speaker that outputs a sound of the phase opposite to the sound output from the third speaker. The first speaker system and the second speaker system are arranged so that the first speaker and the third speaker are located further toward the longitudinal median plane of the vehicle than the second speaker and the fourth speaker.
