Title:
VEHICLE BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/145380
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle battery cooling system that improves the battery cooling effect, and simplifies the cooling path structure to improve the ease of equipping a vehicle with the battery cooling system. The upstream end (34A) of an air intake path for cooling a battery (34) is made to open behind and above a rear seat (12). Meanwhile, the upstream end (36A) of an air intake path for cooling a battery charger (36) is made to open in a space (37) below and in front of the rear seat (12). When an air-conditioner (8) takes in air from the lower part of the inside of the passenger compartment (5) and blows out cold air to the upper part of the inside of the passenger compartment (5), air that has cooled a battery (28) passes through the air intake path for cooling the battery charger (36) and is returned to the inside of the passenger compartment (5).
