Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle battery unit comprising: a battery module including a battery cell stack in which a plurality of chargeable/dischargeable battery cells are stacked; a housing case in which a housing space is formed with the battery module housed therein, the housing case consisting of an upper case and a lower case; a flow path-forming plate that forms a plate-like refrigerant flow path for cooling the battery module with a liquid refrigerant from the back surface of the bottom portion of the lower case, the refrigerant flow path having a flow area corresponding to an area of 90% or more of the back surface of the bottom portion of the lower case, the flow path-forming plate having a predetermined flow path interval maintained from the bottom portion of the lower case; a refrigerant supply nozzle that supplies the liquid refrigerant across 90% or more of the flow path width of the plate-like refrigerant flow path; a liquid refrigerant supply header that supplies the liquid refrigerant to the refrigerant supply nozzle; and a liquid refrigerant discharge header that discharges the liquid refrigerant from the plate-like refrigerant flow path.
