Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle behavior control device that can improve the perception of linearity and responsiveness of vehicle behavior when steering, without the driver being made perceive a strong sensation of control intervention, and that can also control vehicle behavior so as to improve ride comfort and the perception of vehicle attitude stability. The vehicle behavior control device controls the behavior of a vehicle (1) having front wheels (2) that are steered. The vehicle behavior control device comprises a PCM (14) that acquires the steering speed of the vehicle, and if the steering speed is at least a prescribed threshold value TS1 greater than 0, generates a deceleration jerk in the rearwards direction of the vehicle front-rear direction.
