Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vehicle black box system using a solar cell, which operates via power applied from a solar cell without external power and which performs wireless and wired communications with a communication device to obtain and monitor the state of the black box from the outside. The vehicle black box system using a solar cell includes: a solar cell (100) disposed outside a vehicle to convert sunlight into electrical energy to generate power; a secondary cell (200) charging the power generated by the solar cell (100); a charging control device (150) supplying the power generated by the solar cell (100) to the secondary cell (200) to control the charging of the secondary cell (200); and a black box (300) that operates by means of receiving the power from the secondary cell (200) to collect and store vehicle driving information in a memory (370) and transmit the vehicle driving information to a remote monitoring device (500) through wireless communication when an event occurs. According to the present invention, since power is continuously supplied to the black box during long-term parking, the black box operates without interruption.
