Abstract:
According to the present invention, a front structure (2) of a vehicle body (1) is characterized in comprising a pair of front side frames (11) extending in the front-back direction of the vehicle on both widthwise sides of the vehicle, lower members (12) extending in the front-back direction of the vehicle on the vehicle-widthwise outer sides of the front side frames (11), a bumper beam (13) provided in front of the front side frames (11) and extending in the width direction of the vehicle, bumper beam extensions (14) disposed between the front side frames (11) and the bumper beam (13), and gussets (23) linking the front ends of the front side frames (11) and the front ends of the lower members (12) and formed into convex shapes protruding frontward; the bumper beam (13) having a concave shape opening rearward and being capable of fitting with the gussets (23).
