Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle body front structure which allows the reliable transmission of a load in a crash to suspension arms. The vehicle body front structure (10) is equipped with: front side members (20); a sub-frame (30) disposed below the front side members (20); lower arms (60) each mounted between the sub-frame (30) and a wheel (7); and deformation portions (50) which deform in response to an input in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The sub-frame (30) has: a plurality of mounting portions (33), (34) to be mounted to a vehicle body; mounting walls (38) for mounting the lower arms (60); and deformation portion mounting portions (37) for mounting the deformation portions (50), which are disposed further towards the front of the vehicle than the mounting walls (38). The rear ends (37a) of the deformation portion mounting portions (37) are opened in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The rear ends (52a) of the deformation portions (50) face the lower arms (60) through the rear ends (37a) of the deformation portion mounting portions (37).
