Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to increase the freedom of layout for a front obstacle detection sensor and peripheral components thereof. A ground-contact guard (20) has an upper wall (20a), a front wall (20b), and a lower wall (20c) longer than the upper wall (20a) along the front-to-back direction of a vehicle. A lower cross member (28) exhibits a hat-type cross-section that opens upward, has at least a front-side flange section (29a) and a bottom section (29c), and affixes the upper wall (20a) to the front-side flange section (29a) of the lower cross member (28) while also affixing the lower wall (20c) to the bottom section (29c). To the front wall (20b) is attached a front obstacle detection sensor (34). The ground-contact guard (20) is further provided with a stepped flange part (38) having a step part (36) continuing at least from the front wall (20b) to the lower wall (20c).
