Abstract:
This vehicle body rear structure (S) comprises: a cross member (53) and a curvature part (54) constituting protruding parts formed by a portion of a floor panel at the rear part thereof (spare tire pan (5)) projecting downwardly; and an underbody coating (10) applied to the protruding parts and having a level difference (20a) and a level difference (20b) in the longitudinal direction. This vehicle body rear structure (S) reduces the air resistance value (Cd) of a vehicle body (9) by guiding laminar air flow under a rear bumper (6) located toward the rear of the spare tire pan (5).
