Abstract:
[Problem] To improve productivity by making it possible to sub-assemble an end plate, and improve impact absorption properties by increasing the joining strength between members configuring a vehicle body side structure. [Solution] Causing an end plate (40) for sealing an opening on the vehicle-body-rear side of a closed-cross-sectional part comprising a side sill inner member (10) and a side sill outer part (28) to contact the rear edge of a side sill reinforcing member (30), joining said end plate (40) to the side sill inner member (10) and the side sill outer part (28) by welding, and furthermore, affixing said end plate (40) to the rear end of the side sill reinforcing member (30) by fastening with a bolt.
