Abstract:
A vehicle body and an automobile; the vehicle body comprises a mounting frame (1), a left door sill (2), a right door sill (3), and a plurality of battery packs (4), a battery pack (4) mounting frame (1) being fixedly connected between the left door sill (2) and the right door sill (3); the battery pack mounting frame (1) comprises a plurality of closed-loop beam structures, and gap spaces (181) are formed at inner sides of the closed-loop beam structures, each battery pack (4) being provided on a corresponding gap space (181). The battery packs (4) comprise battery pack sealing covers (41) and battery trays, and enclosed spaces which accommodate battery modules are formed between the battery pack sealing covers (41) and the battery trays; top edges of the battery pack sealing covers (41) of the plurality of battery packs (4) are connected to inner sides of corresponding closed-loop beam structures respectively and cover corresponding gap spaces (181) so as to form a front floor. The described structure may prevent the risk of a vehicle being unable to continue running due to the unexpected failure of one battery pack.
