Abstract:
A vehicle body structure is characterized by comprising: a cowl top extending in the width direction of a vehicle; strut towers located in front of the cowl top and supporting shock absorbers; a cowl top lower section which constitutes the lower part of the cowl top, extends in the vehicle width direction, and is joined on both sides in the vehicle width direction to framework members; a reinforcement member which is joined to the lower side of the cowl top lower section, extends in the vehicle width direction, and forms a closed cross-sectional structure in cooperation with the cowl top lower section; and first joining sections where the ends of the cowl top lower section in the vehicle width direction are joined to the upper surfaces of the strut towers so as to overlap and cover the upper surfaces.
