Abstract:

The vehicle body structure is provided with a dash panel extending in the vehicle width direction to divide a vehicle interior and a power chamber in front of the vehicle interior, a power unit disposed in the power chamber, a floor panel extending rearward in the vehicle interior from the dash panel, and a dash cross member protruding forward from the dash panel and extending in the vehicle width direction. The dash cross member has a first part that at least partially overlaps with the power unit in front view in which the vehicle is viewed from the front, and a second part extending outward in the vehicle width direction from the first part. The compressive strength of the first part is lower than the compressive strength of the second part.
