Title:
VEHICLE BRAKE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/092939
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When the brake fluid of a first hydraulic chamber (39A) of a slave cylinder (23) is supplied to first wheel cylinders (16, 17) by a first pump (64A) and the pressure increases, a second piston (38B) which is the free piston of the slave cylinder (23) shifts to the first hydraulic chamber (39A) side and thus expands the volume of a second hydraulic chamber (39B), enabling a reduction in the brake fluid pressure of second wheel cylinders (20, 21). Conversely when the brake fluid of second hydraulic chamber (39B) is supplied to the second wheel cylinders (20, 21) by a pump (64B) and the pressure increases, the second piston (38B) shifts to the second hydraulic chamber (39B) side and thus expands the volume of the first hydraulic chamber (39A), enabling a reduction in the brake fluid pressure of the first wheel cylinders (16, 17). Therefore, it is possible to generate a given difference between the brake fluid pressures of the first and second wheel cylinders (16, 17) (20, 21).
