Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle braking force controller intended to improve rider comfort and feel, and offer high-speed responsiveness, while also exhibiting excellent stability in relation to noise. This vehicle braking force controller applies a braking force command value to a braking device (1) for applying braking force to a wheel, said command value being applied according to the stroke quantity of a brake pedal (2) operated by a rider. A stroke amount detection means (5) is provided for detecting the stroke quantity inputted to the brake pedal (2). The invention is provided with a path-responsive braking force command value changing means (6) by which the relationship between the stroke quantity and the braking force command value determined based on the stroke quantity is changed depending on the path of fluctuation followed by the stroke quantity inputted from the brake pedal (2), .
