Abstract:
An AC/DC converter (24) is configured so as to convert the power supplied from an AC power supply (50) to a voltage and supply the voltage to an auxiliary load (16) in an external charging period during which the AC power supply (50) charges a main electric storage device (10). An auxiliary electric storage device (18) stores the power supplied to the auxiliary load (16). In the external charging period, a diode (26) allows the auxiliary electric storage device (18) to discharge while preventing the auxiliary electric storage device (18) from being charged. A current sensor (28) detects that the auxiliary electric storage device (18) discharges. A controller (30) adjusts, according to the detection value of the current sensor (28), the output voltage (Vc) of the AC/DC converter (24) while checking whether the auxiliary electric storage device (18) discharges or not.
