Abstract:

An information transferring ECU (110a) located in a vehicle (100) acquires and stores pieces of vehicle information outputted by a plurality of vehicle ECUs (110) connected to a CAN communication line (120). The information transferring ECU (110a) then transfers the stored pieces of vehicle information to a mobile information terminal (300) for which a short-range wireless communication has been established by a short-range communication control apparatus (150). The mobile information terminal (300) sequentially transmits the transferred pieces of vehicle information to a vehicle information center (200) via an external communication network (400). The mobile information terminal (300) acquires, from the vehicle information center (200), information that identifies the pieces of vehicle information having been transmitted, and then supplies the acquired information to the information transferring ECU (110a). The information transferring ECU (110a) erases, on the basis of the acquired information, the pieces of vehicle information having been transmitted.
