Abstract:
This vehicle component is provided with multiple gripping protrusions (5), which are to be gripped by first holding arms (11) of a workpiece jig as a result of being clamped from opposite directions. The two surfaces of the gripping protrusions in the gripping direction in which the protrusion is gripped by a first holding arm are formed as a first surface (6a) and a second surface (6b). Multiple engaging protrusions (7), which protrude from the first surface in the gripping direction and engage with a first holding arm, are provided on the gripping protrusions. As a result, the multiple engaging protrusions, which are provided so as to protrude from the first surface in the gripping direction, are held by the first holding arms so as to be engaged with the first holding arms. Therefore, the gripping protrusions are clamped from both sides and gripped by the first holding arms with a portion of the first holding arms being pressed against the multiple engaging protrusions and it is possible to ensure a stable state of holding by the workpiece jig without giving rise to increased size of the gripping protrusions.
