Abstract:
In a control apparatus for a vehicle (1) provided with an internal combustion engine (2) and a variable inertial flywheel (10) fitted to an output shaft (2a) of the internal combustion engine (2), when it is determined that the internal combustion engine (2) is running and that the temperature (Tc) of an electromagnetic coil (13) is higher than a first decision temperature (T1) when a body (11) of the variable inertial flywheel (10) and a ring member (12) are coupled by energizing the electromagnetic coil (13), the internal combustion engine (2) is controlled such that the torque of the internal combustion engine (2) is decreased while output power of the internal combustion engine (2) is maintained, and current supply to the electromagnetic coil (13) is decreased.
