Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle control apparatus capable of appropriately controlling actual servo pressure. The vehicle control apparatus: controls a pressure-increase control valve and a pressure-decrease control valve such that the actual servo pressure detected by a servo pressure sensor reaches a target servo pressure (step S106); sets, during normal braking, a control dead band for inhibiting control of the pressure-increase control valve and the pressure-decrease control valve to a first prescribed width range from the target servo pressure (step S104); and, during brake control (e.g., ABS control) that accompanies brake fluid draw-back control in which brake fluid supplied into a wheel cylinder by a pump in a brake actuator is drawn back into a master cylinder, sets the control dead band to a second prescribed width that is greater than the first prescribed width from the target servo pressure (steps S114, 118, 122).
