Abstract:
A vehicle control device (1) is provided with a power conversion unit (12) for converting input DC power and supplying the converted DC power to a load device. A first voltage detection unit (13) detects a first voltage that is the voltage of a power supply line. A second voltage detection unit (14) detects a second voltage that is the voltage on the power supply source side of the power conversion unit (12). When a first contactor (4) is switched on and brought into a state in which current can flow through the first contactor (4), if the decreasing amount of the first voltage from a first time ago till the present time is a first threshold value or more and the decreasing amount of the second voltage from a second time ago till the present time is a second threshold value or more, a contactor control unit (15) opens the first contactor (4).
