Abstract:
A controller (11) serving as a vehicle control device comprises a vertical VSE (12), ride comfort control logic (13), a planar VSE (14), maneuvering stability control logic (15), a command limiting unit (16), and a control command selection unit (17). The command limiting unit (16) obtains, over a CAN (10), various parameters pertaining to travel of a vehicle, such as slip rate, four-wheel independent braking force control flags, and the like. The command limiting unit (16) finds a first command value by limiting a variable range of damping force to be generated by a suspension device (5) provided between a vehicle body (2) and a wheel (3) of the vehicle on the basis of the various parameters pertaining to the travel of the vehicle which have been obtained. The command limiting unit (16) outputs the first command value which has been found to the control command selection unit (17).
