Abstract:
Provided is an ECU which executes a program including: a step (S104) which changes a target transmission stage if the current transmission mode is an automatic transmission mode (YES in S100) and a driver desires to change the transmission stage (YES in S102); a step (S108) which changes the transmission range to the N range if the driver desires the neutral mode (YES in S106); a step (S114) for maintaining the automatic transmission mode if the driver does not desire the neutral mode (NO in S106) and if it is determined that the driver desires switching of the transmission mode (YES in S110) for the first time after return from the N range (YES in S112); and a step (S116) for switching the transmission mode to the manual transmission mode if the switching is not for the first time (NO in S112).
