Abstract:
This controller is a control device of a vehicle provided with an engine, an automatic transmission, and an oil pump, wherein when sailing stop conditions have been met, sailing stop control is implemented, whereby the engine is stopped and the automatic transmission is set to a neutral state. Moreover, if the gradient of the road becomes larger than a prescribed value during sailing stop control, the controller cancels sailing stop control and starts the engine.
