Abstract:
A control device for a vehicle comprising an engine, a torque converter having an LU clutch, a coupling element positioned downstream of the torque converter, a drive shaft positioned downstream of the coupling element, and an electric motor positioned downstream of the coupling element and connected to the drive shaft, said control device comprising a control unit which, when switching from an EV mode in which the LU clutch and the coupling element are in a disengaged state to an engine travel mode in which the LU clutch is in a disengaged state and the coupling element is in an engaged state, reduces the drive torque of the electric motor after the coupling element has been engaged, and gradually reduces the drive torque of the electric motor while gradually increasing the drive torque of the engine after the drive torque of the electric motor has decreased.
