Abstract:
This vehicle control device comprises: an engine; a variator disposed downstream of the engine in a power transmission path that connects the engine and driving wheels; a mechanical oil pump that is driven by the engine and supplies a hydraulic pressure to the variator; and an electric oil pump that supplies a hydraulic pressure to the variator, the vehicle control device having a controller that performs a low standby control for downshifting the variator by radially moving a belt of the variator during a vehicle stop. The controller limits the output of the engine and increases the discharge oil amount of the electric oil pump when performing the low standby control.
