Abstract:
This on-vehicle control device is provided with: an image acquisition unit which acquires a captured image from an imaging device for imaging the surroundings of a vehicle; an overhead-view-image generation unit which generates, from the image acquired by the image acquisition device, an overhead-view image, i.e. a planar view in which the surroundings of the vehicle are viewed from above the vehicle; a white-line recognition unit which recognizes, within the overhead-view image, white-line candidates on a road surface; a white-line-information storage unit for storing information including positional information related to the white-line candidates recognized by the white-line recognition unit; a white-line-position prediction unit which predicts the movement position of white-line candidates on the basis of previous white-line-candidate information stored by the white-line-information storage unit and information related to the behaviour of the vehicle; and a white-line determination unit which excludes white-line candidates, among the white-line candidates recognized by the white-line recognition unit, which satisfy prescribed conditions, i.e. white-line candidates present in the overhead-view image in a radial direction from the imaging device.
