Abstract:
Provided is a control device for a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine (14) such that fuel injection and ignition are performed with respect to a cylinder that is stopped in the expansion stroke, and firing start is implemented whereby a crank shaft (14a) is rotation-driven by the pressure of combustion associated with the fuel injection so as to start the internal combustion engine (14). The control device includes a motor generator (MG)(16) that can rotation-drive the crank shaft (14a). On the basis of an intra-cylinder pressure maximum value (Cyl_prss) detected by an intra-cylinder pressure sensor (56) at the time of starting of firing, a required assist torque (Ast_trq) by the MG (16) at the time of starting of firing is determined. On the basis of the determined required assist torque (Ast_trq), the MG (16) is controlled at the time of starting of firing.
