Abstract:
A vehicle control device (10) is provided with: a virtual waypoint arrangement unit (86) that arranges, on a mapping space (102m) defined by a first axis (X) extending in the length direction of a virtual lane (114) and a second axis (Y) extending in the width direction, a candidate group (120) of virtual waypoints along the first axis (X); and a mapping conversion unit (92) that performs mapping conversion on at least a part of the candidate group (120) by using mapping conversion information indicating a mapping relationship between a lane (104) and the virtual lane (114) so as to obtain a route point sequence (134) which indicates the location of a travel trajectory (Mt) on a real space (102r).
