Abstract:
According to the present invention, a vehicle (10) that comprises an engine (2) that acts as a drive source and a first rotary electric machine (3) that is provided as a drive source and delivers/receives electric power to/from a battery (6) is provided with: a first engagement/disengagement mechanism (20) that is on a first motive power transmission path that goes from the first rotary electric machine (3) to a drive wheel; and a second engagement/disengagement mechanism (30) that is on a second motive power transmission path that goes from the engine (2) to the drive wheel. The vehicle (10) has: a first travel mode in which the second engagement/disengagement mechanism (30) is put into an engaged state and motive power from the engine (2) drives the vehicle (10); and another travel mode in which the first engagement/disengagement mechanism (20) is put into an engaged state and the second engagement/disengagement mechanism (30) is disengaged. A control device (5) has: an engagement/disengagement mechanism control unit (5D) that disengages the first engagement/disengagement mechanism (20) when prescribed conditions are met in the first travel mode; and a rotary electric machine control unit (5E) that variably controls a standby rotational speed (Nw) for the first rotary electric machine (3) when the first engagement/disengagement mechanism (20) is disengaged.
