Abstract:
In the present invention, if an obstacle in front of the vehicle is detected by laser radar, an AEB control unit activates AEB, and if an acceleration operation equal to or exceeding a first operation amount is detected by an acceleration pedal sensor, the AEB control unit stops the AEB operation. If the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor is within a predetermined vehicle speed range, an obstacle in front of the vehicle is detected, and an acceleration operation smaller than the first operation amount but at or above a second operation amount is detected, a PTC control unit reduces the engine output of the host vehicle, and operates PTC which performs PTC automatic braking. A mediation unit assigns priority to PTC automatic braking if the operating conditions for PTC automatic braking conflict with the AEB stop conditions.
