Abstract:
Provided is a technology with which, when a plurality of detection methods are used to determine a travel lane, the travel lane can be estimated with good precision even if the precision of any of the detection methods is inadequate. A vehicle control device according to the present invention calculates comprehensive reliability levels by integrating respective reliability levels of a lane estimation result from a first detection unit and a lane estimation result from a second detection unit, and compares the comprehensive reliability levels with each other to estimate the lane in which a vehicle is traveling.
