Abstract:
This control device (90) is provided with a motor control unit (71) and a shift control unit (73). When the shift range of a shift-by-wire system is changed from a parking range to a non-parking range, the shift control unit drives an actuator device so as to cancel locking of a power transmission mechanism effected by a locking mechanism. When the shift range of the shift-by-wire system is changed from the parking range to the non-parking range, the motor control unit performs torque compensation control that compensates output torque of an electric motor so as to reduce a load acting on the locking mechanism from the power transmission mechanism.
