Abstract:
A vehicle control system comprising: an output unit that outputs information; a recognition unit that recognizes peripheral vehicles that travel in the vicinity of a vehicle; a control unit that, on the basis of the relative position between the vehicle and at least some of the peripheral vehicles recognized by the recognition unit, controls the acceleration/deceleration or steering of the vehicle; a specification unit that specifies a peripheral vehicle that could have an impact on the acceleration/deceleration or steering of the vehicle, among the peripheral vehicles recognized by the recognition unit; and an output control unit that causes at least information relating to the presence of peripheral vehicles specified by the specification unit to be output to the output unit.
