Abstract:
The present invention has the purpose of providing a vehicle control system, vehicle control method and vehicle control program with which it is possible to achieve a smooth transition from a driving mode that performs automatic driving, to a driving mode with a lower degree of automatic driving. The vehicle control system of the present invention comprises: an automatic driving control unit that implements a first driving mode that automatically controls the acceleration/deceleration and/or steering of the vehicle in question, and an environment control unit that controls the environment devices of the vehicle in question in such a manner that if the automatic driving control unit terminates the implementation of the first driving mode, and shifts to a second driving mode that has a lower degree of automatic driving than the first driving mode, the environment of inside the cabin is transformed into a state suited to the second driving mode.
