Abstract:
This vehicle control system is provided with a retrieval unit for retrieving a path to a destination for a vehicle to travel on, an automatic driving control unit for carrying out automatic driving for causing the vehicle to automatically travel along the path retrieved by the retrieval unit, a reception unit for receiving an operation from a vehicle occupant, and a retrieval control unit for causing the retrieval unit to recalculate a path on the basis of prescribed conditions if at a road divergence, the vehicle occupant carries out an operation on the reception unit for causing the vehicle to travel in a direction deviating from the path.
