Abstract:
A vehicle control system (1) characterized by being equipped with: an internal combustion engine (4) capable of switching between an operating state and a non-operating state during travel; an engaging device (10) capable of switching between a state in which a rotary member (10a) on the internal combustion engine (4) side and a rotary member (10b) on the drive wheel (3) side are engaged such that power can be transmitted, and a disengaged state, and capable of adjusting the engaging force with which the rotary member (10a) and the rotary member (10b) are engaged; and a control device (8) that executes a control that reduces the engaging force such that the engaging force of the engaging device (10) is less when the engine rotational speed of the internal combustion engine (4) is the resonant rotational speed than when the engine rotational speed of the internal combustion engine (4)is not the resonant rotational speed B. Thus, the effect is that the vehicle control system is able to appropriately control vibration occurring in the vehicle (2).
