Abstract:
A driver-requested torque requested by a driver is computed on the basis of said driver's manipulation of a gas pedal (S10), a vehicle-requested torque requested by an automatic transmission is computed (S12), a requested torque to request from a source of driving power such that the computed driver-requested torque and vehicle-requested torque are coordinated is computed and outputted (S16, S18), the behavior of the source of driving power is controlled so as to yield the outputted requested torque (S20), the computed driver-requested torque and vehicle-requested torque are compared (S14), and if it is determined that the vehicle-requested torque is larger, the driver-requested torque is outputted as the requested torque (S16, S18), thereby preventing acceleration unintended by the driver.
