Abstract:
This data recording device (90) is mounted to a vehicle which is subject to self-driving control by means of a self-driving control device. The data storage device comprises an abnormality detection unit (910) and a control unit (911). The abnormality detection unit detects abnormal states, including at least abnormalities in a passenger of the vehicle, and abnormalities in the environment surrounding the vehicle. When an abnormal state is detected by the abnormality detection unit, the control unit stores, on recording media (92, 93), determination information with which it is possible to determine whether the vehicle is being operated by a self-driving control device. The determination information contains at least one of: a process variable of self-driving control; information on which the process variable is based; control variable for the vehicle; actual output information of the vehicle; and information directly indicating whether self-driving is underway.
