Abstract:
Provided are a vehicle detecting device (100), and a vehicle counting device (600) and method. The device and method respectively perform classifier-based vehicle area detection (901) and luminance-based vehicle lamp area detection (902). Results of the above two detection methods are combined to form a detection result of a vehicle (903), thereby effectively increasing accuracy of the detection result, and preventing missed detection. Moreover, the invention adapts to various scenarios, such as daytime and nighttime scenarios, and has a wide range of applications.
