Abstract:
To enable an on-vehicle device to detect an abnormality in a measured traveling speed of a train. When detecting a current ground unit 14a, an on-vehicle device of a train 20 calculates a speed curve based on a measured traveling speed at a detection time, and sets a shortest required time to each of a next ground unit 14b and a ground unit 14c after the next. And when the next ground unit 14b is detected, a traveling time from the detection time of the current ground unit 14a to a detection time of the next ground unit 14b is compared with the set shortest required time, and when the traveling time is shorter than the shortest required time, an emergency brake is operated to stop the train 20.
